Timeline

May 2009

First flight is made on the 15th May 2009. Jet First is active.


April 2009

Final aircraft is delivered from ILFC and the aircraft get painted in our Livery ready for the first flight on 15th of May


January 2009

Website is finalised. Testing of all the online systems begin.


December 2008

After months of searching for investors, Jet First finally managed to sign a deal allowing us to put our plans into action. Jet First orders 4 757-200 and 4 767-300 for lease from ILFC to be delivered over the next few months


September 2008

Disaster struck. The current credit climate and soaring fuel prices was cutting an airline off every week, and our soon to be competiter "Zoom" went bankrupt which made it alot harder to find investment. Jet First was put on hold.


August 2008

An initial coperate identity was created along with a logo and a livery design for the aircraft.


July 2008

Towards the end of July 2008 plans were put in place for a brand new Virtual Airline that would carry passengers low cost across the atlantic following the recent move by Europe and the USA to allow aircraft to travel transatlantic with less limitations. The plan called "Openskies" made it easier for more Airlines to begin servises across the Atlantic.
