1.0 Information

1.1 Introduction

This pilot handbook contains all of the information you are likely going to need through out your career here. This pilot handbook is a collection of operating procedures, policies and regulations. We hope you enjoy reading this and we hope that it gives you a better understanding of Jet First.

1.2 The Airline

Jet First was founded by Elliot Rosemeyer in May 2008. We are a non-profit virtual airline organisation. The website, scripts and repaints are legal property of Elliot Rosemeyer, unless stated otherwise. To find out more information about our airline use the menu to browse Jet First.

1.3 Ranking

When you join Jet First you will start with zero hours, regardless of any other virtual airline experience. As you earn more hours your career will progress and you will be promoted. As currently we only have 2 aircraft types in our fleet, being on a different rank doesn’t give you any special benefits, however these will count as Jet First expands, where there will be lots of different benefits for our more experienced pilots. These are our current ranking levels:
• First Officer – Less than 25 hours.
• Senior First Officer – 25 hours to 99 hours
• Captain – 100 hours to 499 hours
• Senior Captain – 500 hours +

Important information regarding the flight will be displayed in the briefing room.

Actual Arrival time is the time you shut your engines down at the gate. The first text box is for the Hours and the second is for the minutes.

Fuel loaded is the amount of fuel that you loaded for the flight, this should be entered in Kgs but should just be units e.g. 15678 should be entered instead of 15678Kg.

Fuel Remaining is the amount of fuel that is left after the engines have been switched off and should be entered like Fuel Loaded.

Comments is an optional field that you can enter any other details about the flight.)
